3DPrintster Guild collects information about member shops, not about shoppers. We do not collect shoppers' names, emails, addresses or payment details, we do not run shopper accounts, and the search box does not track individuals.
When you apply and use your portal we collect your shop name and website, your contact name, email and mobile number, your Venmo and PayPal handles, a short description, your shipping locations, your login (a password stored only in encrypted form), invoices and payments you make to us, and referral fees you owe or are owed. If you opt in to text alerts we record when, from which network address, and under which wording you gave consent.
We log each search query, the country the shopper chose, the products shown and the position of each, and clicks on results. These records contain no names or contact details and are kept in aggregate for reporting; search logs are deleted after 180 days. To limit abuse we briefly keep a one-way hash of the visitor's network address (not the address itself), deleted within hours.
When a shopper clicks a result that sends them to another member's shop, we add a number to the link (p3d). The member's site stores that number in a first-party cookie and browser storage for 30 days so a later purchase can be credited. It identifies a click, not a person. The search box itself sets no cookies.
To run the search index, approve and bill members, track and settle referral fees, send invoices, reports and the alerts you choose, prevent abuse, and improve the service. We do not sell personal information.
Your shop name, website, location, description and product listings are public. Your Venmo and PayPal handles are shown to the member shops you owe or are owed referral fees by, so they can pay each other. Members can see whether a shop pays its fees on time. We use service providers to run the site, send email, and deliver text messages (Amazon Web Services). They may process your information only to provide those services.
We text only members who opted in, for the purposes described in our text message program terms. We do not share mobile phone numbers or opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Reply STOP to any text, or turn off alerts in your portal, to opt out.
You can update your details in your portal, leave the network at any time, and ask us to delete your information (we may keep invoice and referral records as required for accounting and to settle fees between members). Contact steve.lloyd@gmail.com.
